Chargie’s new case is made from UV-curable resin on a DLP 3D printer. Layer size is 0.05mm and the quality is top notch (the projecting screen’s resolution is 4K and the size is just 8.9″).
Resin is a hard material and looks beautifully. It doesn’t melt. Resin printing is harder to do and involves a few extra cleaning and curing steps compared to classic (FDM) printing.
The raw material is also more expensive and so was our Anycubic Mono X and its Wash&Cure Plus curing machine, which is why we’re charging a bit more for these cases.
You won’t be able to discern layers like you do in an FDM-printed case, which makes it perfect for a premium product taking care of your premium phones.
