Last updated: 18 December 2022

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the https://chargie.org website (the “Service”) operated by Lighty Electronics srl (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.

At Lighty Electronics SRL, we offer a convenient and secure way for our customers to make payments online. To provide this service, we use a payment processor, which handles the transaction between the customer’s bank and our business. Payment processors charge a fee for their services, and these fees are passed on to the merchant (in this case, our business).

In order to cover these payment processing fees and ensure that our business can continue to offer this service to our customers, we charge a payment processing fee on all transactions made through our website. This fee is a standard industry practice and is applied to cover the costs associated with processing online payments.

In addition to the payment processing fee, merchants may also collect state fees on behalf of the state in which the transaction takes place. These fees can vary and are typically used to support state programs or initiatives.

We believe in transparency and explicitly state the payment processing fee and any applicable state fees on our website and during the checkout process. This allows our customers to know exactly what they are paying for and make an informed decision about their purchase.

It’s important to note that while both the payment processing fee and state fees may be collected by the merchant and passed on to the customer, they serve different purposes. The payment processing fee covers the costs associated with processing online payments, while state fees are used to support state programs or initiatives.

Please note that the payment processing fee is non-negotiable and is required for all online transactions made through our website. By making a payment on our website, you agree to pay the applicable payment processing fee. The payment processing fee is subject to change at any time, and we recommend that you review this fee before making a payment.

We understand that any additional fees can be frustrating, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we hope that the convenience and security of our online payment system make up for the added fees. Thank you for your understanding.
