You paid $1000 for the latest Samsung smartphone, or even more for Apple’s current product. However, after a year, your phone’s battery will not charge as much as it did the first time, and this is not right, since the hardware is perfectly capable to serve you even after three years.

Of course, you need to have the app installed, too. Just set the charge level you desire and let your phone juice up. When the percentage reaches the desired level, Chargie simply stops the current flow, externally, no matter what your phone is. A really useful device. I have supplied half of my family with 4 Chargies, and have just received another 4, so that everyone has a Chargie at home and in their office.
It takes a little bit of time to sort through the settings in the app, but then it’s extremely easy to use! You just set the usual level of charge for your phone, and it will charge until there. And if you need more charge, you can use the top-up setting, which will charge your phone to a higher percentage you can choose. For example, I typically set 70% of charge, which is enough to get me through a typical day, and top up to 85% in the morning of intensive days.
One thing to pay attention to is that Chargie has to be plugged the correct way: there are labels “in” and “out” on the side (they are not easy to notice unless you are looking for them). The power supply should be plugged into “in” – otherwise, stopping the charging will not work. Took me a couple of days the first time, before I figured out what was happening.
